Tonight...
Walking home from bowling we were admiring a vintage BMW glistening with settled fog. As we drew closer, what I thought was an abnormally large sign left under the wiper was actually… a new, plastic-wrapped vinyl of Jeff Buckely’s Grace.
I wanted to take it so very badly.
But I left it. If it’s a random act of kindness, maybe someone new will get to love JB as much as I do...

Someone I know has been VERY VERY VERY good this year. I really do like giving things more than I like getting them. I am a volcano of happy anticipation right now.
Why is today going so well?
I haven’t been sad once, got a Slice-o-matic from my secret Santa, am not angry despite not having gas (aka my stove won’t turn on, not the other kind of not having gas), trimmed Bug’s claws without injury AND got a kittykiss for my trouble… Tuesday, you make me suspicious… But it’s only 5 pm. Yup. Just made a triple batch of this. Used agave nectar instead of sugar and added a splash more vanilla. It’s a little bland but I’ll experiment with spices in the future so see if I can’t kick it up a notch BAM!

Problems
I wish I could quit the internet. Ignorance is not a solution, but every time I hop online, something, without fail, makes me want to kill myself. I know that wouldn’t solve anything either but sometimes I feel so small and helpless in the face of everything I’d like to change.

When I want to go to bed Bug is being the snuggliest, nicest kitty evaaaar. He’s even only laying on my wrists, no my fingers, so I can type and rub my nose on his head. But I reeeaaaahhhlly want to go to sleep… sigh. OH GAAAAHD he is PURRING EVEN. This never happens.
